I live within a mile of this fantastic Pizza restaurant and I’m thrilled to finally have great pizza in Cincinnati! The atmosphere here is very welcoming and sitting at the wide bar chatting with the servers feels like a special experience. Ashley , our bartender, was great! She poured my husband a grand Guinness and was lovely. Each time we have visited we have had a wonderful experience and the owner has spoken to us with genuine appreciation for our business. Don’t miss this fun spot in a great location! Edit; this post is actually regarding the Cincinnati location, 8th street. Although I’m sure the Covington restaurant is equally as Amaze, amaze, amaze!

Mad Anthony’s has been receiving a lot of hype the last couple weeks so I decided to try it out and ordered a pizza by delivery. It was not cheap to begin with, but that’s not an issue for legitimately good high quality food. Unfortunately what I received was burnt to the point of being inedible - I thoroughly enjoy wood and coal fired pizza so I expected and hoped for something with some good browning. What I got though was a 40 dollar pizza that more or less arrived as charcoal. Other pictures look promising so I don’t want to write them off. But I can’t remember the last time I’ve ordered food delivery and received something legitimately inedible.

Mad Anthony’s Pizza at Covington Yard is the real deal. Easily some of the best pizza in the Cincinnati/NKY area. The crust is perfectly crisp with a soft bite, the ingredients taste fresh, and every pie we’ve tried has been loaded with flavor. Great atmosphere, great energy, and the kind of spot you keep coming back to. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out. 🍕

Firstly, I get my pies well done so while this photo might not appear appetizing to you, I assure you it is right up my alley and you dont have to get it this way. Now, this pizza was perfection. Im sure if it wasnt well done, it still would have been perfect. From the crust to the toppings and everything in between.... when we come through town, this is where my pie will come from. The service was wonderful. There was some issue with ordering online and potentially being double charged- the owner himself text my phone and assured that if there was a double charge he would immediately refund it. Its been just under a week and only the one charge has posted. You simply cannot beat an honest business ran by people who clearly have a passion for not only running said business but producing a superior product.

Visiting from Chicago and was recommended Mad Anthony’s for a slice. This place was phenomenal. Slices were a mix of crispy and fluffy and everything about it was delicious. Tim was there and was awesome to talk to briefly and I’ll definitely be back for another slice whenever I’m in town!
